

If this harness is near a tire, meaning down low, you might get away with sealing this with electrical tape when we're done. I never use electrical tape under the hood or inside the vehicle as it will unravel into a gooey mess on a hot day. You'll find that is not electrical tape and it isn't sticky. The first step is to remove the black plastic wrap I indicated with the red brackets.

This repair is not outside the capabilities of a competent do-it-yourselfer, but I have all kinds of pointers to help you make a quality repair. You posted a dandy photo that tells the whole story. If you look on the left side of the first one and see the designation, "LG-BK", that means it's a light green wire with a black stripe, or "tracer". I posted them in case we need them later.
